Excitement!!!!!
Jeff and I have some exciting news! Our adoption agency wrote today to let us know that our agency has been formally approved to do adoptions in the country of Vietnam which means we may be getting a referral sooner than we thought. We were hoping to know who our daughter was by Christmas but now it looks like we will know her at least by Thanksgiving and possibly by Halloween!!!!! Oh my goodness. It finally seems real to me.
As we are preparing to bring Selah home, we have a lot to think about- one thing being $$$$$. Several months ago, I wrote about our adoption fundraiser. I made a CD of original music and we are still selling it for $10. If you are interested in contributing to our adoption fund this way, please e-mail me @ jelonard@aculink.net and I will mail you one!

Our prayers and thoughts will be with your during this process. We know firsthand of the emotional rollercoaster adoption is. Your encouragement has meant a lot to us during this time.

Congratulations on hearing such good news about your daughter! Some friends of ours from church got their good news yesterday about their soon-to-be-daughter that they are adopting from China. They got a picture of her yesterday too and will travel to get her in just 6 weeks! Some long awaited prayers were answered by many adoption agencies yesterday!!!
I am sooo excited for you too!!!
Praise God. Your act of adoption is truly a work of Christ incarnate.
